situates on a 2.5 acres of land in a serene, secure and education
friendly community in Okon Eket.It is equipped with the state-of-the-arts facilities. Compulsory bus services
to and from school will be available for day students to check indiscipline.
VISION
The board of proprietors which is made up of erudite scholars who have been involved directly in the
molding of youths at all
levels of education from Pre-primary to tertiary believe strongly that:
- Nothing is too hard for any child to achieve when he or she regards discipline as the number one rule in live.
Therefore every student irrespective of background, or status of parents in the society should be made to observe the school rules and regulations strictly.
- Inculcation of good reading culture should be part of the core programmes in any school.
This is because researches Show that all leaders were good readers at their formative years.
- The boarding system should create an environment where children should live without being nostalgic as a result of feeding, bullying
and other forms of maltreatment from the senior ones. At touchstone
high school the high level of discipline will not allow any child to
be home sick.
- For the Day students, parents are encouraged sincerely to send their children from home
if they live in Eket town. This is because the children will lose nothing and may probably gain more things
in life during this formative years as the family ties which promote development in desired religion and other
family culture and values will not be broken or interrupted before the age if 15 years
at which time they shall have gotten rooted permanently.
- Hard work carefulness, steadfastness, punctuality, truthfulness, safety consciousness, security
consciousness,
diligence, respect, regularity, sincerity, regard to values and selflessness in service can only be inculcated in
youths if they are brought up in a disciplined environment. Such environment is where Touchstone High School hopes
to provide by God's Grace.
